2005 Box Hill Club Championship
Entries are invited for the 2005 Box Hill Club Championship to be held at
the Box Hill Chess Club, Carrington Centre, 79 Carrington Road, Box Hill on
Fridays April 22, 29. May 6, 13, 20, 27. June 3, 17, with a free night
on June 11
The tournament will be an eight round swiss type
tournament, super accelerated at the discretion of the arbiter.
Entries are open to all BHCC members with current 2005 membership [Memberships
are due April second].Starting time: 7.45 p.m. sharp on all playing nights.
Entry fees: $30
Early Bird entry fees: $20 if received with payment not later than April
15
The rate of play: 90 min plus 30 seconds per move from move one.
The prize fund: will consist of $1200. Including a first prize of $500
Prizes will be shared equally between players on equal scores.
The titles of Box Hill Champion, Box Hill Junior Champion and Box Hill
Senior Champion will be awarded. Titles will be decided in a short play-off
if relevant places are shared.
Entries close 7.00 PM Friday April 16 at the club.
