The Box Hill chess club has challenged the Dandenong chess club to a single game of chess to be played at the rate of at least one move per week during 2000.

Each club night (Wednesday for Dandenong, Friday for Box Hill) the previous move is made public for consideration by all present at the club. Discussion of the game and potential responses are encouraged.  The club selects its response by finding the most popular move by ballot of the members present on the night.
